Concrete and Masonry Sustainability – Publication

Today we bring you a white paper from the International Concrete Repair Institute. The ICRI is a non-profit institute devoted to standards for the concrete business and provides several free publications on their website. Today we decided to take a look at Sustainability for Repairing and Maintaining Concrete and Masonry Buildings.

Green building and construction is more important than ever. This extends beyond simple green materials and making sure new construction is built to green standards. Construction repair and concrete removal also need to be looked at closely to ensure that we maintain a green and eco-friendly presence.

From the publication:

Sustainability is meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. The purpose of this white paper is to educate manufacturers, contractors, design professionals, and building owners on the benefits of sustainable maintenance, repairs, and adaptive use for concrete and masonry buildings.

This publication takes a thorough look at sustainable concrete manufacturing, building, and repair. Take a closer look and you might be surprised at what you can learn.
